Hi there. This is Kendall James; KJ for short. I would like to let you know a little bit about me.
I grew up and went to school in San Antonio. I have always been interested in cars and motors, both the mechanical aspects and the evolving technologies as well. During my high school summers, while many of my classmates were working in fast food restaurants, I chose to work in the service departments of local car dealerships. I learned a lot from some outstanding mechanics during those years.
I continued to work on and research vehicles during my college years, helping family, friends and acquaintances and occasionally doing contract work. I preformed maintenance and repairs on many vehicles and also advised on vehicles that were being considered for purchase. While I was feeding my interest in vehicles, I earned a degree in engineering technology from Texas State University in San Marcos.
After graduation, I worked as an engineer for a manufacturing company and later as an engineer for a wireless internet provider. What I found out about myself after working a few years in those jobs is that I like to be out in the field and not in an office, and I would rather work with my hands than be typing on a computer all day.
